Alta Group is a comprehensive multi-tenant SaaS platform that digitizes and intelligently automates Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) workflows for non-residential buildings. The platform unifies building management, energy-performance analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and compliance processes.
What began as a simple digitization effort evolved into a full-scale intelligent automation ecosystem. By combining AI-powered document intelligence, geospatial visualization, and scalable cloud infrastructure, MY EPC significantly reduces manual effort, improves compliance accuracy, and delivers data-driven insights for sustainable property operations.

Our Solutions

We designed and delivered a robust, role-based multi-tenant platform that operationalizes the entire EPC lifecycle. The solution modernizes certification creation, analysis, and management while embedding intelligence at every layer.

RAG Implementation & AI Enablement

A standout feature of the platform is the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system built for document intelligence. We implemented advanced RAG pipelines that:

Automatically ingest and chunk large energy reports, building documents, and regulatory files.
Enable semantic search and context-aware Q&A over massive energy-performance datasets.
Provide accurate summarization of complex technical documents with source traceability.
Power automated interpretation workflows that extract key EPC parameters, flag compliance gaps, and generate draft reports with minimal human intervention.

Enhanced RAG Performance

To further strengthen the RAG system in future iterations:

Adopt a hybrid vector and structured knowledge graph approach. This combines dense vector embeddings with a graph database to model relationships between buildings, energy assets, regulations, and historical EPC data enabling deeper reasoning and more precise insights.
Implement multi-stage retrieval with reranking and metadata filtering to reduce hallucination and improve relevance.
Add domain specific fine-tuning of the embedding model on energy & building terminology for higher accuracy in the PropTech domain.
Introduce caching layers and prompt optimization to balance latency and cost, especially for high volume AI workloads.
